Taking my logo to new heights

Well, I have big plans for the natural beauty with the cute earrings...also known as my logo. She is currently featured on my "No Additives" t-shirts and she's liking it there and feels like expanding. Since her conception, I have received nothing but good feedback on her design. I personally like that she's chic without being too simplistic.

So, be on the lookout to see how she is transformed and also her updated "No Additives" look!

Well, it's that time again....

Summer school *sigh* So wack. I will be sooo happy to finish this degree. I mean really, who wants to be in school in the summer time? That's right....no one....lol

I have books to order, which I've done for the past 3 quarters and not even used them and I'm still trying to get my mind right. I am excited about some things that I have in the making. I hope to start on one of them today. I have new t-shirts that I'm working on and some other surprises. Thinking of these is way better than thinking of homework.

So, wish me luck with staying on top of everything. I thought I'd leave a pic of me looking smart : )

Moving Forward....

There's so much going on right now..... I can't even begin to explain. But one thing is the fact that they are cutting teachers jobs so my position is not secure for the fall as of yet. So, with this knowledge, I know that I need to try and kick my business into full gear. So much to do to accomplish this. I need business cards which I have to re-create my design because my original design was on my laptop that was stolen. Even though I'm on Etsy, I need my own personal website. I also have a list of products that I want to offer and open a new shop just for my T-shirts. *Phew* Just thinking about what I have to do is overwhelming. I also need to get a business license and of course some supplies for creating. And that's just dealing with my business.

My summer classes start on Monday.....and I am so not looking forward to it. So I need books and my mental state to be stable....and ummmmm that's not the case right now.

I have no idea of even where to start.....

Kid's Party!

Here's some invites that I just finished for a friend. I think they came out good. I'm hoping to get my shop up and officially running. I'm making my plan for production and getting everything in order.

My First ACEO!

So....I've been stuck in a creative rut lately and I'm really trying to break out of it. I have millions of ideas of things that I want to do and new things for my store, but just don't have the time to execute them. Teaching full-time and going to school just doesn't leave enough hours in the day.

Well.....I'm excited to say that I'm making the time! Here is my first ACEO. I've been wanting to try and create some nice on such a small canvas and I do believe that I've achieved that. I love color and texture, but really don't do too many abstract pieces...it's something that I need to work on, so this was a bit of a challenge. I'm happy with the way that it has turned out and plan to do more throughout the week. I used markers and colored pencils and just let the medium tell me what it wanted to do.

So here's the outcome. Yes! Out of this rut! I will be offering the original in my store soon and possibly some limited edition prints.
